Cavendish Beach Music Festival Announces Eric Church And Carrie Underwood As First 2019 Headliners

TORONTO, ON – Today, the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, presented by Bell is pleased to announce 3-time CMA and 7-time ACMA Award-winner, Country music superstar Eric Church and 7-time GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum superstar Carrie Underwood as the first announcement for the 2019 festival. Underwood will hit the stage on Saturday, July 6, while Church will close out Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day outdoor music festival on Sunday, July 7. Cavendish Beach Music Festival will run from July 5 - July 7, 2019.

Underwood has garnered 26 #1 singles, sold 64 million records worldwide and will be co-hosting the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley on November 14 for the 11th time, and is also nominated for CMA Female Vocalist of The Year and Music Video of the Year. In September, her new album, Cry Pretty, debuted at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts and is the biggest all-genre debut by a female in 2018. A multi-platinum selling artist, Church’s recent album Desperate Man debuted at Number #1 on the Billboard Country Album charts. He has garnered over 14 million streams for Desperate Man thus far and performed for fans at multiple sold out tours.

Also announced, GRAMMY and CMA nominee Cam and Russell Dickerson will perform at this year’s festival. Additional artist announcements will come in the weeks leading up to the Cavendish Beach Music Festival

Winner of the 2018 CCMA for Festival / Event of The Year, the Cavendish Beach Music Festival has grown to become Atlantic Canada's largest multi-day outdoor music festival, attracting over 60,000 visitors a year to see some of the hottest names in country music. Past performers have included, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Dan & Shay, Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and country legends Ricky Skaggs, Alabama, Reba and pop sensation Shawn Mendes. The American Bus Association has named Cavendish Beach Music Festival to its Top 100 Events in North America and the West Jet Fun N’ Festivals Series deemed the festival Top 10 Best Festival in Canada.
